Nancy Popp: All the doctors and staff are great. Dr Hill is the best. I’ve been going to their facility over 20 yrs now. Dr Hill walks you through the procedures needed for your pet even when you put them to sleep. Vet tech Jessie is wonderful does a great job cleaning your pets teeth. Vet tech Raquel is so caring love her to death. Front desk Erin and Courtney check you out when you’re done. I’m sure I missed a lot of them sorry. Only thing I could suggest when they put you on hold and it rings back I know it’s easy to just push hold again but would like to be acknowledged like haven’t forgotten ya please hold.

Brittany Holsten: who loves to play frisbee. Last night after playing, I noticed she started limping on her right front leg. This morning she continued to limp so I called Sodo and they took us in right away which is unheard of on a Saturday at most places. Dave at the front desk is exceptional. He has a way of putting you at ease by his kind and patient demeanor. Krys was also very personable and you can tell how passionate she is about animals. Dr.Ortiz did a thorough range of motion exam and felt confident that there were no fractures or major injuries. He recommended rest and anti-inflammatory medication first before proceeding with any potential unnecessary and costly tests such as x-rays and etc. I work in healthcare and I can't tell you how much I appreciate this step-by-step conservative approach in medicine. This just goes to show you how highly skilled and noble of a doctor Dr. Ortiz is. Sometimes doctors will order every test under the sun because they are either trying to nickle-and-dime you or because they simply don't feel confident in their diagnosis. That's not the case with Dr. Ortiz. He is both confident and humble, a true rarity now days. I should also add that Luna had her teeth cleaning done here several months ago and the whole team did an outstanding job.Trust me when I say your pet is in good hands with Sodo Vet. I can't recommend them enough!

valerie grebinger: I couldn’t be happier with my dog Beau’s visit today! Amy and Dr Rowley understood right away how to make Beau’s visit possible. He always has to be sedated due to high anxiety and be wrestled and tied up… until today. I was told they are completely against this type of handling with animals in their care. It didn’t take 5 minutes for my dog to be comfortable and get the visit and shots he needed. Amy even showed me a picture of Beau and Dr Rowley posing like best buddies! I’m so impressed with this animal hospital! From the time I called and made an appointment, to the humane handling of my dog and the knowledge of the staff!

MJ A: We had to put down our 18yr old chihuahua that we’ve had since he was 2 months old. Ashley & Dr. Rowley made an extremely difficult situation much more comfortable than we could have ever imagined. They were super gentle with him and took care of the smallest details. From having water and tissues for us, to wrapping Milk in a cute little blanket so he was comfortable. If I could, I would give them 10 stars!

tiffany reitz: I've been bringing my two senior French bulldogs here for years. We have seen several vets, mostly Dr Ebner, and they are all amazing!!! Kudos to all of them. My big issue is with the physical building itself for the most part and the way the place itself is ran. For the past 4 years, I have drove 35 minutes each way to bring my dogs here. In all of those 4 years, I have never had access to a bathroom. First it was due to COVID, now it's due to construction on the building. For 4 years, we have had to do curbside check-ins. For the first two years, because of COVID. Now, because of construction. Right now the parking is an absolute mess. It's not super close to get to the door and too hot for my dogs to walk. I made a last minute appointment today as my almost 14-year-old French bulldog needed seen as I just needed his lungs listened to. No one bothered to mention when I made the appointment that there is no working AC. We show up, and it's 101° outside and feels like it's about 90 inside. I have my two French bulldogs with me who cannot tolerate heat. My boy was panting after 2 minutes inside and it just got worse. We ended up having to leave before he was actually seen. This is an issue as my dogs are old and have been coming here for years. All of their records are here. But to know that they won't be able to actually be seen or cared for here is concerning. I now have to find a new vet last minute because if something did happen and either of my dogs needed to stay for treatment, they wouldn't even make it because it's too hot. Kirkman road vet clinic should have leased a new building during the time the building is being remodeled. We walked across pieces of drywall and insulation to get inside which is a hazard. For as much as we pay, we need better. All the years I've been taking them here, there's just always been something off with the building and the way the place has been ran. I do love the vets! Especially Dr ebner.

Allison Miller: We have been taking our 3 dogs to KRVC for 5 years and have always been happy with their care. We have also taken chickens and guinea pigs there and had great care for them as well. Having a team of vets makes it possible to get an appointment quickly, and all of the vets and staff are caring and knowledgeable. We like their PawPlans, too, which allow us to spread out the cost of vet visits.

Mandy S: My 6 year old Shih Tzu Toby needed his first surgical dental cleaning. After researching many vets in the area I decided to set up a consult with Dr. Salazar. I had never worked with him or the office before but was impressed by the investment he made into his clinic and was encouraged by all of the great reviews. From the first appointment on, I was equally impressed by how well trained and educated each member of the team is. Dr. Salazar took his time to go over the procedure in great detail with me and thoroughly listed all the ways my pup would be monitored while under the anesthesia. Since it was his first cleaning and I was nervous this really meant a lot to me. The pricing came in right where I expected so no surprises there. Toby's procedure went smoothly, he recovered like a champ and he's back to his full spunkiness so I know he's feeling a lot better and it really upgraded his quality of life. Also I was wowed by the personalized home care instructions I was sent home with for Toby- it was a really nice touch and shows how well they pay attention to detail. This office definitely has it together and I would be comfortable referring family and friends. Thank You Dr. Salazar and Team!

They confidently make diagnoses and jump in to “research mode” when they’re unsure. It’s a small practice so I always feel welcomed and not rushed. Dr Olson is so knowledgeable and caring, Dr. K is a great problem solver, and Dr. Mariash is so sweet and gentle with our boy. We’ve been a part of their practice for 10+ years and will continue as new person our family.
