Mizs Behavin': I've been to volcano Bay many times and I love it. Volcano Bay is a great place to take your family and spend some family time. Sad to say we had to choose between volcano Bay and another place and we chose volcano Bay even though the tickets were more. The only complaint that I have was the fact that the tickets were $80 one day and then when I checked back it was $100 which was a bit of an inconvenience. But we love the place so much that we still decided to go. If you haven't been to volcano Bay yet with your family, I think you should at least try to experience it for yourselves. I'm sure you won't regret it.

Tim van Erkel: You park on the large Universal lot, you walk 5/10 minutes to the bus and it takes you to the swimming pool. Then you walk another 5 minutes to receive your bracelet, after which you can go wherever you want. They have lockers that you can use for a fee, but they are not properly indicated upon arrival.With the bracelets you received you can virtually queue for slides. Please note, you can wait up to 5 hours for some slides. The advantage is that you can just swim in the meantime. The lazy river is also recommended.In terms of theming, this is the most beautiful swimming pool I have ever seen. It was extremely busy, but this was not noticeable due to the infrastructure and the size of the site.There is more than enough to do for young and old to fill your day, it is well worth the walk from the parking lot!

Victoria: , so driving into property to discover scaffolding EVERYWHERE, was kind of a downer.However, Jake at the front desk was lovely, and gave us a room that still had a beautiful view, and even sent us wine and strawberries to celebrate our anniversary. He made our stay magic. Big thanks to him. I would very much like to return another time, however this kind of trip is a luxury we cannot afford more than once a decade or so. In short; nice staff, clean and tidy, but kinda iffy on information.

Tee Jay: Went for a resort day pass 1st and foremost Matteo was an amazing host! He was on point allllll day! His energy and professionalism was off the charts. The amenities were just as described. We had an amazing time. Only issue is I wish they told me parking was free before I paid to park across the street. My advice pull up check in and then go to the Hilton parking garage. We made lots of new friends in the adult area and my kid had an awesome time in the main area. Almost bought a cabana but glad I didnt there was plenty of seating all over. Will definitely come back to this resort

Mindy Devine: Love it here for the kids to play and we enjoyed it! Just wish there was more security for the Adult Pool area. All 4 days we've been here there have been children, teens, and pre-teens in the hot tubs and pool. Even little ones like 3-5 yr olds. Not sure if the parents are breaking the rules or just not watching their kids but I'd hate for something to happen to them and the hotel incur legal issues. But otherwise no complaints!

I like to give a shot out to our server Terry and Shaun the cabana and lazy river coordinator. It was my nephew Giovanni birthday 🎂 they made a point of making my nephew feel special. The food and drinks were delicious we had so much fun in the lazy river,slide and pool we will definitely be back .This hotel is a 5 star everyone there made you feel welcome and special

Alan Leach: The Hilton Orlando has been providing excellent service for the past 2 years for me. The facilities are clean and can accommodate a large number of guests. The pool facility has separate areas for children and adults, along with a great bar area. Would definitely recommend this facility for either a vacation stay or business conference!

Glenn Wagner: Outside of a few bumps regarding security gates that wouldn't open, and a shuttle bus that doesn't drop you off at the lobby, our stay was wonderful and park experience was amazing!Walkability: It's only a 5 minute walk to Universal and another few to Islands. For anyone wanting to ride Hagrids early, this is the Hotel to stay at.

Jason Peterman: What I love about this place is the staff...always friendly and engaging. The rooms are nice but nothing extraordinary. The pool is awesome, food expensive, location is the best of the universal properties as it is closest to the parks. It is faster to walk than to take the boats. Make sure you select the upgrade if available box when you book. We were upgraded to the club level which is key access only and comes with additional perks like free breakfast on the 7th floor and snacks and drinks throughout the day.

Summer Cummings: This was my first experience at Hard Rock Hotel Orlando. The location was VERY convenient to City Walk to either walk or take the water taxi.The grounds were beautifully landscaped and well maintainedWe stayed Club Level and night recommend and will do this for every visit. The snacks, happy hour, dessert etc as well as the Express passes were worth the rate of Club Level!!The entire staff, concierge, check in, luggage bell hop, pool DJ, room service etc were very friendly and guest first. Everyone we interacted with really seemed to enjoy their jobs and wanted to make our stay memorable! Will definitely stay again!!!

Josh Wells: Oh Typhoon Lagoon, why do you leave me stranded on this island being baked by the sun gods?Overall, I like this park. The kids really enjoyed it too. We have been a couple of times and we walk away with sad and crying kids because they don't want to leave.The theming is fun and plentiful. There are so many touches on this property that goes into the story of Typhoon Lagoon. Take some time and explore the lore and you will enjoy the park even more.The wave pool is good but quickly turns into people stew. When we were there, it was probably a medium busy day. There wasn't a lot of waiting for slides but the wave pool, at times, was pretty packed. The big waves that get generated are awesome! If you know how, they are perfect waves to body surf on them. However, you quickly run out of room to body surf because of the density of people near the red line of the pool.The slides are ok. They are not super thrilling, for the most part, but they are fun with little ones. I would not wait longer than 5 -10 minutes for any of the slides because they have shortish runs and are pretty slow. The Humunga Kowabunga is fast but the entry at the bottom of the slide is pretty painful. If you are not tightening the top of your legs, you may find water working to clear things out of some private areas. The Crush 'n' Gusher is probably the best slide in the park.The biggest issue I have is that there is a serious deficiency of shaded sitting areas. When you are baking in the Florida sun, the thing you look forward to the most is getting back to your beach sitting area to sit back, hydrate, and recover. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of places to do this and you find yourself in the unrelenting sun just cooking you, forcing you to get back into the water.This is a great opportunity to break up park days to be able to relax and have some fun on a giant pool. However, I would NEVER pay the full ticket price so look for deals or maybe addon to your Park Hopper tickets to Plus size it.I'd go again but only during off-season times. I couldn't imagine this place in the summer.

Danielle O'Hara: There was quite a bit for our 6yr old to do at 47in. Lots of slides, there is an under 48in area that was really cute and of course the wave pool. The typhoon wave is gigantic, if your kid is not a strong swimmer, I don't recommend being in the water past 1 ft deep.

Jenna Nelson: We are leaving tomorrow from our family reunion. We had 5 rooms with 11 adults and 12 kids. The rooms were very spacious and pretty clean. The waterpark was great, huge pool, lots of tubes for the lazy river. The food and drinks were decent at the bar, however, pretty expensive thus we didn’t order much from it as it wasn’t worth the extra cost. The arcade is a massive rip off, just stay clear.Although the rooms were very spacious and decently updated they all need some TLC. Fresh paint, new caulk, update carpeting would make this place shine. I feel as though funds are going to the newer resort before this and they turn the rooms around very fast. We would stay here again with hopes they put some elbow grease into cleaning the units. Like the baseboards in the bathroom were pretty gross, I actually cleaned it myself! Some of the furniture needed a good scrub too
