Julia Egan: Source, service, & style are the key elements of Kress's Chophouse concept & they delivered on all three. Housed in a historic landmark I was intrigued by my husband's suggestion that we make a reservation. We chose Elk Cove & Wagyu Carpaccio to start. I was intrigued by the Oregon vineyards offering & it didn't disappoint. The presentation & flavor of the Snake River Farms hors d'oeuvre was a delightful introduction of what was to come. We chose from the creative & classic grouping with a mixed grill & filet Wellington. We were both pleased with our choices regarding their presentation & flavor. For dessert we shared a Key Lime strawberry cheesecake which was a lovely ending to a delightful evening.
Fatlittlefrog: Best steakhouse in Orlando period. Been here twice and everytime it has impressed me with their amazing service knowledgeable staff that are able to converse and give amazing recommendations/ pairings. The food is second to none in the area, any of the steaks are on my death row final meal requests it’s surmounted other high end restaurants in quality presentation and price I always walk out more than pleased and excited to come back can’t say enough about this amazing establishment absolutely drive out of your way to treat yourself to this absolute blessing of a restaurant. Plenty of great vegan options as well if you swing that way ♥️

bajan boi: I don't like going to any restaurant within an hour of closing. But our reservations were for 10pm & they closed @ 11pm. They book late appointments and they don't rush you at all. Kimberly: We have been hearing about this place for awhile now so we made reservations and decided to try it for ourselves.The decorations and atmosphere were cozy. We liked the set up. Drinks were good and deserts were good. I didn’t feel that anything about the food or drinks was “better than sex” and thought there would be more of a selection. They were out of a few desserts and so we settled for what was available. Overall it was fun to go and see it and say we went but maybe it was hyped a little more than it should be.Maybe. Don’t take my word for it. Go see for yourself because it is a cool place.

The servers are extremely friendly and knowledgeable which made our visit comfortable. The drinks and desserts were out of this world! If you want something unique to explore, this is definitely the place!

Our waiter was absolutely adorable and sweet he even noticed my husbands military ID when we were paying and stopped to ask if we were military and gave us a discount which was so very assiduous and kind. You can tell he enjoys his job and he is a Gem, I wish I got his name. Okay on to the food, I tried the oreo bread pudding and it was absolutely delicious. My husband also enjoyed his red velvet cheesecake and the presentation was everything.For drinks we ordered the lucky shot for me and the rimmed coffee for my husband. My drink was so delicious and so was his coffee. My only complaint is that there aren't really any true cocktails, just shot sized "cocktails", delicious all the same!We will be bringing friends here for sure!
anthony lombardi: Destiny made our night very special so the service was top notch. The only con is they don't really have a waiting area and our reservation was a little behind. They sat us in the area in the back by the bathroom and we had to keep moving everytime someone walked by. Be aware it's very dark in there too. Not an issue but it's very very dark. I dropped about 80$ with tip for 2 people and we don't drink. Thanks again to Destiny.

Legacy Marshall: , Tbh parking was an adventure due to the fact that it was a Saturday night and we had to make a 11pm reservation due to the size of the party, there was no street parking or parking garage even remotely close to the establishment. All that being said, we where blown away with this place! And the parking Fiasco was well worth it! After a beautiful afternoon out in Orlando with friends this was the perfect nightcap! Jorge Rueda: Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendliest and most attentive hostess Nicole and received a personal warm welcome from the manager Nik. At our table we had the best service from our server Tatiana who guided us throughout our evening, she definitely made our anniversary one to remember and the most special night we've had in a while. Not to mention the smoked old fashion served by Bryan was amazing. The service was impeccable and the entire staff was incredibly welcoming. We will definitely be coming back for another date night and we hope that you will too.

Server was very nice m, the drinks were very good. Neicey Williams: I couldn't be more taken back by how beautiful this restaurant was. This is second by the attention to details from the greeting at the door to the goodbye sentiments. The food, and personalization from the chef himself is extraordinary. The array of wines and alcohol is very impressive for such a quaint restaurant. We enjoyed it so much we scheduled our next visit three weeks later. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

Joe Mouad: Food and attention from servers second to none in Orlando, it can't be beat. My only gripe, we like to eat early, we arrived at 6 and weren't served our entrees until 830pm. I feel like they intentionally drag the experience out so they can do appetizers for the restaurant at the same time, then salads, then everyone's dinners. I would go back for a special occasion, but not for a regular night, I don't enjoy sitting anywhere for three hours.

Kyra Williams: My husband and I visited from Tampa and celebrated his birthday here at the Strand for dinner.We loved the wine selection- we found a natural wine from Germany that we love, which hasn’t been an easy find for us in Tampa.We started with deviled eggs and snapper cakes. Both were tasty. Snapper cakes were very creamy and soft, with light hints of snapper throughout.The night we visited there was a special of arugula salad with porchetta, which was amazing. It was totally rich and perfect. The arugula cut the richness of the pork fat so well.My husband got the steak and he was THOROUGHLY impressed with how it was cooked. I got the burger. It might have been the best burger I’ve ever had. I love the way the beef tastes in a good burger. No cheese, just delicious beef and this had it. Plus the bun was perfectly toasted on the inside but so pillowy and soft on the outside.I cannot recommend this place enough.Update: we came back on 4/27/24 and got the devilish eggs again, pan con tomate, fried mushrooms, another salad and the duck breast. This duck breast was the BEST preparation of duck I’ve ever had, and I am picky about duck. It was cooked so perfectly- it was the perfect temperature, no grey band and seared to a crisp on the outside. The strawberry chiffon pie was the star of show though. Omg. So fresh and light. Start to end, one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.

My son’s favorite is the soft pretzel with pimento cheese appetizer. My husband loves the octopus. And my favorite is the fish fry which is so light and crisp with delicious house made slaw. The strawberry chiffon pie was heavenly!

Seth Winship: of it locally sourced. Every plate is so well-made and delicious. You literally cannot make a mistake ordering anything on the menu. To me this is a Michelin-star-worthy experience without the price tag. One of the best features of the restaurant: the menu has options at both lower and higher price points which allows me to come more often than I otherwise would AND friends with different dinner budgets can attend together and still have a quality meal. And now they have cocktails which is the cherry on top.

We were late to our reservation due to a prior plan taking longer than expected, but we called and they were helpful and accommodating. It’s not a large place so I would definitely try making a reservation before going. There is a little bar at the front as well. I thought the little board on the table showing the reservation was super cute! Looking at the menu, it was hard to decide what to get because everything looked so good. We decided to both get an appetizer, the tortellini and the fried mushrooms. Both were PHENOMENAL! For our main we both ordered the steak frites. It was a little spicy for me, but I still enjoyed it. My friend enjoyed the kick, but she is less sensitive to spice. We were too full for dessert but their options looked yummy. Will definitely be back to try more of their menu!

Graham Walsh: for dinner. Don't be put off by the outside, the staff and food do the talking! It's also walking distance if you are staying at the DoubleTree Hilton too. We walked in and they made us a table for 8 people without a booking, just had to wait a few minutes. I need to figure out how my review got moved from a cafe that closwd out of business to this place here. My original review of the CAFE is below:So sad to find out this placed closed. Haven't been to this place in a while so thought to pop on google and check out the hours. I've been going to this place every couple months with my wife since we moved down to the Orlando area 2 years ago. My first time trying arepas was in Miami. Since then, I've tried several other places and this little gem had the most chill and genuine vibe with the most delicious and beautifully prepared arepas dishes I've ever seen. The ingredient quality was high, the price was low, and the staff always treated us nice -- even though Spanish isn't our native language -- always felt welcomed there. What made this place shine on top of those other qualities mentioned was that they had two styles: Colombian and Venezuelan arepas -- and depending on which style you ordered -- it was very distinct and all VERY good. Why is it when I find a place I really like it closes down?? I saw the most recent reviews about the service going downhill and that's a shame -- seems like something internal happened. My experience was nothing like that, though. I'm really heartbroken this place closed and hope whoever was making those amazing dishes will someday resurface back onto the food scene.

Christen McCluney: Had a great experience. In town visiting and we randomly searched the best place to get brunch in a Friday. We had awesome service and everything we had was delicious. We were celebrating two friend’s birthdays and we are still talking about the caramel sea salt cheesecake and the chocolate thunder cake. Whenever we are back in town we will return.

Alex Fischbach: Went here with some girlfriends to catch up and had a lovely time! The atmosphere is stunning, and we had a great server. She was helpful with suggestions and very friendly. Happy hour went until 7 so we had plenty of time! We ordered the Queso Fundido which came with little tortillas, guac & salsa combo, and empanadas as an appetizer for the table. The chips were well seasoned with a hint of sweetness. The queso isn’t your typical queso which we didn’t know, but still enjoyed. I ordered the taquitos for myself and could only have 1 after all the snacks, and it was alright. Pretty dry, but the sauce helped a little. One of my friends ordered the ceviche and the other the quesadilla and both seemed to like them fine. I didn’t order a drink, but they both did from the HH menu. One the Punch and the other the Margarita. The Margarita was super sour and tasted mostly of lime juice. To the point it was upsetting my friend’s stomach and she sent it back. My other friend didn’t like the Punch drink either, but stuck it out. Overall the vibe is on point, but room for improvement. Probably won’t be back unless someone else suggests it.Parking: Some street parking in the front, or there are parking garages down Park Lake St.

Thomas Wood (Woody): Wendy and the staff do an amazing job of taking are of each guest as if they were family. When I came in with the Deacon boys for our yearly dinner, it felt like I was arriving at my grandmother's house for dinner. The food was amazing! A tequila old fashion??? I dare you to try it! The attention to detail with EVERYTHING, was off the charts. I am a very critical reviewer and dare I say, this was the best meal yet. Keep on keeping on!

Kyle Woodlock: Wheelchair accessibility: The spacious patio seating has direct at-grade access to the sidewalk. We ate outside, so I can't comment on the interior.
Kory Knight: I'm a frugal person, so I'm usually very hesitant to go to a restaurant with high prices like this one. But it was all worth what we paid for. The chile relleno I had was the best I've ever had and it was quite filling. The salsa roja was great and the chips tasted like they were homemade. The churros tasted freshly made. However, I think they put too much sugar on them. Fortunately, you can get a lot of it off by tapping it on a plate. I can't remember the name of the drink I had but it was also delicious. The inside the restaurant was very nice and well kept. I would gladly come here again. In fact, I plan on coming here again at some point to try their lunch menu.
Kyle Justice: The meal was delicious, however i do have some notes on the fish tacos. If you want to have a build your own experience, then it should be easy. The fish tacos were not really fish tacos, but rather a giant piece of fried fish with tortillas on the side. It didn’t feel like tacos at all and i felt like i had to work too hard to eat it. To make it a better experience, the fish should have been cut and fried into smaller pieces and the greens should have been easier to access rather than underneath the fish. Either that or just build the tacos in the kitchen before bringing the dish out. Most people don’t want to work that hard for their food at a restaurant. Especially at those prices.
Lisset Santana: Came here with my husband and friends, we absolutely loved the food. Mexican food with a sophisticated twist that is worth to try. Loved the ambiance and atmosphere, definitely I’m coming back to enjoy Reyes Mezcaleria… Shout out to Danila our waitress, she’s amazing 🤩 pretty knowledgeable about the menu, she had excellent recommendations to taste. She was more than kind and patient with us! thanks again

Ricardo Correa: Unfortunately I didn't take any photos during this dinner, a get-together where the aim was to eat good food, good wine and lots of conversations and laughs!!! Completed perfectly! The restaurant is very pleasant, has great dishes, good wines and excellent service, it is next to a very beautiful lake, but because it was night it was not possible to admire this external landscape!
JuanManuel Valdez: First, the Food and the ambiance was fantastic. We came last year for our 16th Anniversary and we had such an amazing experience. From the valet to the manager, server and chef. So we decided to come back on 4/14 @7:30pm and again the Food and ambiance was great, but this time one year later… the service lacked. From the manager to the server, they were both very nice but no acknowledgement about our anniversary even though I called specifically for that and also on the confirmation via text it had the notes. So it just seemed like we went to a regular restaurant. I hope this part really changes, because it really is a great restaurant.
